Meet Our 2022 Ash and Elm Team- Rachael Brown
Hi! I’m Rachael, and I’m from California. I live in the Sierras and love hiking, kayaking, mtn biking, bird watching and just being outside in the forest!
I started sewing a few years ago as a way of rediscovering myself after a chronic illness journey. I found it to be a fantastic outlet for my unique fashion ideas, and really enjoy seeing my skills progress as time goes on. It is so rewarding to be able to bring a creative idea to life, and then get to express my unique style with it.
I would love to get more comfortable with zippers and swim/athletic wear over the next year. I love Ash and Elm because the variety of printed fabrics and panels help inspire me to think outside the box and have fun with my custom wardrobe, whether it’s a shirt, dress, or workout gear!
