Fam Jams Wrap Up
Did you sew up any jammies for this years #FAMJAMS??? I had so much FUN stepping outside my normal Movie Night Pj's and trying some different patterns the past few weeks! Check out this ADORABLE elf set I whipped up for my sassy little guy 😍😍😍
Every year I make jammies for my kiddos and all of our nieces and nephews, and this year I really wanted to get them done early so I wasn't stress sewing the week before Christmas hoping that they would arrive in time for present opening. This year because of some recent additions my jammies list went from making 13 to 17😫 and I knew my usually procastination wasn't going to cut it this year.
When I saw the #FAMJAMS not only was I excited that I could win some prizes, but it gave me the motivation I needed to actually start this monumental task that I kept putting off. I started off the #FAMJAMS event with the full intention of cutting, sewing, and sending out all the jammies by the end of the event, but quickly got sidetracked and let creativity and inspiration run away from me. 🤣
Instead of getting 17 pairs of Christmas jammies sewn up for everyone, I sewed up 7 pairs of pj's that had nothing to do with my original plan 😳 I did however get all 17 pairs cut out, but I totally lost motivation after that and keep telling myself I'm going to just sit down and get it all done tomorrow, but then tomorrow comes and I find another excuse to push it off and I'm sure come December 10th you'll hear me panicking about how if I don't get these jammies done NOW then I'm doomed 😬 Who knows, maybe tomorrow I really will get it done 🤷♀️🤣
I mean how could I focus on a mountain of jammies when I was constantly being inspired and admiring all the jammies our AMAZING team sewed up during the event? Thanks to Tamar's Ruffle Tips I even made my very first ruffle nightgown!!!! 😍 I just LOVED getting to see everyones creations and I can't wait to find out who the winners are and what they get with all their loot!! Thank you so much for hanging out with us during the event and I can not WAIT to share another EXCITING event with you tomorrow so make sure you check back in bright and early tomorrow morning to learn all about it!
