Fam Jam Day 11- Angel Brock
Hi! My name is Angel and I can't wait to share my sews for the Fam Jam event with you! My kids can never have too many pjs! I made my oldest (my son) a pj shirt using Ellie and Mac's Kid's Grow With Me Pajama Pattern. My son really likes EAM pattern's and their colorblocking style so I knew their pj pattern was perfect to make a top out of. Not only is it an awesome pattern but it is FREE!
My son loves his awesome Camo fabric from Ash and Elm. I was so happy and suprised to see I had a coordinating Olive green fabric that went perfectly with this camo fabric.
For his super awesome joggers, I used our go to jogger pattern, the Yogger pattern from Petite Stitchery Patterns. I love the fit on this pattern for my son. They aren't too slim fit and are loose enough for him to run around and do his random running and jumping lol. He prefers to have a knit waistband rather than elastic so the Yogger pattern works out perfectly. The Yogger pattern is also FREE. As you can tell I love a good free pattern. Both patterns are very well drafted and fit amazingly!
For my older daughter I made her a night gown using Little Lizard King's Stardust night gown. My daughter is a bit more opinionated when it comes to her mama sews. She loves this night gown pattern and chose this as the pattern. It comes in a knee or ankle length and has the option of long or short sleeves. We went with the knee length and short sleeves. I made her nightgown using Ash and Elm French terry and it sewed up beautifully. I couldn't help but make a matching jumbo scrunchie using Made for Mermaids Scrunchie pattern in the Jumbo size.
As soon as I saw this beautiful pink toned camo I knew I had to use the Sausalito pattern by Little Lizard King to mash with their Hadley pattern to make an adorable nightgown. Ps...Sausalito comes in baby, child and adult sizes. I love the drop shoulder sleeves and ruffler sleeves on the Sausalito pattern. I went with Hadley for the mash because the curved hem is just too cute! What do you think? Also how cute is that cute pink camo from Ash and elm. Isn't her matching headband adorable? I found that super cute headband pattern FREE at Eunoia Patterns! It is such a cute and quick sew!
