Deck the Halls with Ash and Elm Day 4

Deck the Halls with Ash and Elm Day 4

I was SUPER EXCITED to try the North Pole Poncho from Petite Stitchery & Co. It's been on my to sew list for forever. So when I was putting together the schedule for the sew-alongs I KNEW this HAD to be on the list.

Not only is it ADORABLE, but it's such a quick easy sew! I'm not usually a poncho person, so I decided to make it in a kiddo size first to see what I thought, and I have to say after making this I NEED a handful in my size!!

How awesome would this be to just throw on really quick when it's chilly out, but you want something a little nicer than coat. The BEST part is that you could make this out of so many different types of fabric bases so that as the weather changes you can change up your poncho! French Terry for spring and fall, Fleece or Sweatshirt Knit for Winter, and Double Brushed Poly or Waffle knit for those cooler summer evening 😍

I'm definitely using Waffle knit for my next one!! Have you been sewing along with us during the #DecktheHallswithAshandElm event? Every sew we're giving out a different prize and at the end one lucky sewist will get a GIANT dose of Holiday Cheer worth over $400!!!! 😲 Come sew-along with us in our Sew-Along with Ash and Elm group 💕

xoxo- Melissa 😘
