Christmas in July : Day 19
Another simple and fun sew for the girls today. The Folks over at Love Notions Patterns are up for today and we are looking at the skater skirt. This girls pattern features sizes 2T to 16, a yoga band type waist and 2 length options.
Perfect on its own or you could pair it with your favorite bodice to make a particularly comfortable and cute dress.
Another quick sew this one was about 10-15 min from print to wear. I opted to skip hemming on this one as I once again forgot to add length for my tall 2 year old. I made a 3t in the longer of the two options. and really love how cute it is. my daughter actually doesn't have any skirts in her wardrobe just lots and lots of dresses.
After making my first one I know I will for sure be making at least a few more. especially with school starting soon.
I used the scattered stars double brushed poly on mustard for this one and already cut out another in emi. I will post pictures of the second one in the group when I get around to finishing it.
