Christmas in July : Day 2

Not all gifts have to be traditional. Some can be gifts we give to our self which is exactly what today's pattern is.
The Agnes by Halla Patterns (Free code in their Facebook group!!) is a super fun top and the perfect staple for any wardrobe! I made myself the tank top tunic version using one of these beautiful Liberty panels for me to wear on the river with my family for the forth of July coming up this week and like a woman possessed I just could not stop!

I quickly sewed up one more using a short cut piece of the large scale Lydia stripes. Since it was a little short I color blocked the top with some of our black Liverpool and gasp!!

There are no words for how much I love it!

This pattern is fitted in the chest and relaxed through the hip which I absolutely love! My daughters have already started picking through my fabric stash to order some for them selves and I can not wait to try a dress length sleeved version!!

Recommended for:
Beginner

Pattern Type:
Tunic top or dress with different sleeve options.

Fabric Suggestion:
Light weight knit's with 4 way stretch and good recovery

Pattern Sizing:
00-26

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very! The pattern is well drafted and well worded. Everything was extremely clean and easy to understand.

Fabric Used:
I used Cotton lycra, a light triblend french terry, and liverpool.... So not the lightest of fabrics but I am a rebel lol I can't wait to make some dbp ones!

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I color blocked one by cutting about an inch down from the armpit area and adding a seam allowance.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely! I need at least 20 more just for my self!
