2022 Spring Capsule- Jackie
Seasonal clothing capsules are some of my absolute favorite things to make so as soon as I saw the opportunity to be a
part of Ash and Elm’s new spring capsule box I knew I had to apply! I have twin daughters so I love the convenience of
clothing capsules! They have independence to pick their outfits but I know that no matter what they pick it will match.
Haha. For the A+E capsule, I picked some of my favorite patterns but also got the opportunity to try some new patterns
from some great companies!
For the bottoms, I like to have a variety of different options. I chose to do the Petite Stitchery Piper Palazzo Pants, Sinclair
Twinberry leggings in both full length and capris, then the Sunflower Seams Wildflower Skirt. It’s still a little chilly in the
mornings here in NC during the spring so pants/leggings are always a great choice!
For the tops, I chose the Sofiona Birch, Sinclair Ivyberry, Patterns for Pirates Tulip Tee, and Love Notions Classic Tee. I
love color blocking options but also like to have a couple simple to mix in also.
My girls both love dresses so of course I had to include a couple! One of our favorites is the Sunflower Seams Buttercup
mashed with Gardenia! I also wanted one to showcase the gorgeous border print on a skirt so I chose the Rain City
Patterns Essential Set since it had a gathered skirt option that was perfect for this! It’s also great to have a cardigan or
jacket for a layering piece that will work with all of the outfits so I chose a slightly modified Petite Stitchery Wren Cardigan.
The fabrics included in this box are absolutely gorgeous and no matter what you make with them it will be amazing! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
